Job Summary

The Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (RRTP) is a comprehensive clinical care program that provides a range of therapeutic modalities and services to Veterans with complex medical, psychiatric, vocational, educational, or social needs. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and administering all aspects of the program, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective rehabilitation and recovery-based services to Veterans.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure the program delivers high-quality services to Veterans, monitoring progress towards and outcomes of strategic plans.
  • Manage personnel, budgetary, and physical resources of the program, ensuring adequate on-site and cross-site coverage is consistently available to meet the needs of the system.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, information, and procedures related to the program, including patient handbooks.
  • Coordinate and monitor all aspects of the referral and admission process, including receiving and assigning referrals, tracking results of all screening decisions, and collecting, analyzing, and reporting on data associated with referrals, screenings, and admissions.
Requirements
  • United States citizenship.
  • Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree from an institution whose accreditation was in place for the year in which the degree was granted.
  • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
  • Residency training approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Board certification in Psychiatry.
Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
