Physiotherapy Assistant

**Job Summary**:

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Covenant Health in Tennessee. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will work closely with patients and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality physical therapy services that maximize patient function and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Treatments and Procedures: You will perform therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a licensed therapist, following established protocols and guidelines.
• Care Plan Development: You will work with patients and their caregivers to develop personalized care plans, incorporating functional goals, frequency, and duration of services.
• Documentation and Communication: You will maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, progress reports, and status updates.
• Collaboration and Education: You will participate in interdisciplinary teams, provide education to patients and caregivers, and recommend assistive devices as needed.
• Professional Development: You will stay up-to-date with industry developments, attend training sessions, and contribute to the development of new programs and services.

Requirements:

• Education and Experience: An Associate degree and PT Assistant License are required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also necessary.
• Skillset: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well in high-stress situations, and proficiency in prioritizing tasks are essential.
• Working Conditions: This role requires working in a fast-paced environment, exposure to blood/body fluids or tissue, and adherence to OSHA standards.
