The role is centered around delivering high-quality patient-centered care and coordinating all functions in the unit/department during designated shifts. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will work collaboratively with other members of the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care according to established policies/procedures.

Key responsibilities include assisting with admission and discharge processes, participating in ongoing assessment of patient care quality, collaborating with subject matter experts, and supporting a patient-first philosophy. Additionally, you will assist with staff scheduling, manage practical aspects of staff labor, and support proper inventory control.

To be successful in this role, you must possess at least 3 years of ED RN experience in an acute care setting, with ED RN Charge Nurse or Supervisor experience being preferred. You should also have advanced cardiac life support certification, NIH stroke scale certification, trauma nursing core course certification, and basic cardiac life support certification.
