Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Travel LPN. This opportunity allows an LPN to travel locally by working in various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from home address, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles for residents in the relevant clinical setting.
  • Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilize appropriate age and population-specific standards related to the physical and psychosocial needs of the residents as per care plan.
  • Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents.
  • Contribute to the assessment of residents and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
  • Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Document resident interactions as needed and the outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
  • Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
