Oasys, a leading-edge government contractor, is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Expert to join its team at Fort Sill in the Lawton, Oklahoma area. With multiple offices across the United States working on defense, cyber, and commercial projects, Oasys delivers responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific, and IT solutions.

About the Role: The successful candidate will lead software development teams in creating advanced models and simulations while performing vulnerability research on radio frequency (RF) / network protocols, software, and hardware technology used in customer systems. Additionally, they will assist in developing novel Cybersecurity and Electro-Magnetic Activities (CEMA) training and simulations systems for military weapon systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to customer-sponsored research and development projects focused on defensive cyber security solutions for military weapon systems.
  • Develop simulations that emulate realistic CEMA environments.
  • Create offensive and defensive cyber tools centered around Command and Control (C2) and Radar systems.
  • Discover vulnerabilities and develop exploits for operating systems, open source and proprietary network protocols, and user space applications.
  • Research current and future cyber security threats against military systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Mastery of 10+ years of professional experience with software development is essential.
  • Familiarity with Software Engineering Development Life Cycle.
  • Significant programming expertise in C++, Python, or other equivalent languages.
  • Proven experience in mentoring technical development teams.
  • Experience working with Agile processes for code development.
  • Dedication to following best coding practices and techniques.
  • Potential for travel up to 10% per year within the Continental United States.

Salary Estimate: Based on industry standards and local market rates, we estimate the salary for this position to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
