Overview

Catalyx is seeking a highly skilled Project Development Manager to lead assigned capital projects and manage engineering, design, and construction resources in the West Gulf Coast Region. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, leadership, and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead assigned capital projects (standalone projects and projects within plant outages) and manage engineering, design, and construction resources in West Gulf Coast Region.
  • Develop estimates, funding request documents, schedule, and ongoing forecasts for assigned projects.
  • Ensure all projects receive adequate hazard and safety reviews and that all recommendations are completed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure inherent process safety is adhered to in all project designs.
  • Provide field supervision / support during project field execution.
  • Manage Project Safety.
  • Maintain projects on budget and schedule.
  • Ensure all projects meet the operability needs of the customer.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years manufacturing plant operations, maintenance, or capital projects experience. Strong organizational and planning skills, as well as leadership abilities, are essential. Self-motivation and a willingness to learn are also key requirements.

Work Environment

This role requires occasional travel (10-20% of the time) to various locations within the West Gulf Coast Region. The selected candidate must be willing to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$150,000, depending on experience. Additionally, the company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
