Data Migration Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced project manager to lead our SAP S4 HANA implementation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in agile project management, with a focus on data migration. This role will be responsible for ensuring the timely execution of data migration activities, collaborating with the data migration team, and identifying and mitigating risks related to parallel rollout activities.

This is a full-time role located on site in Clark, NJ. The candidate must have a strong understanding of data migration methodology, including profiling, cleansing, and validation activities. Experience with using various data migration tools and solutions that apply to SAP data migration implementations is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the data migration team to develop and test data migration processes for S/4 HANA implementations.

2. Lead the data team through the scope, extraction, mapping, and loading of both master data sets & transactional data sets from multiple sources into SAP systems.

3. Understand and follow up on the data migration methodology, the current Data Migration Global playbook, overall knowledge and experience of data migration strategy and sequence as well as data migration tools (ETL).

4. Collaborate with global and local project teams to ensure alignment on data migration timelines and milestones, and the coherence of data migration with other rollout activities.

5. Actively assist the data migration lead on the coordination, tracking, and reporting of data migration and data propagation activity to stakeholders.

6. Be proactive on planning risk assessment internal and external to data migration activities and communication to global and local stakeholders.

7. Day-to-day tracking and reporting on data migration activity progress to data migration lead and project stakeholders.

8. Initiate with the Business Process Owners and DTM leads to ensure the Data Migration and Propagation activities are captured and aligned with timing for proper testing.

9. Work in tandem with the Business and Technical Cutover leads to ensure tasks are captured to ensure timely execution for go-live.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.

2. At least 8+ years' experience with SAP and large project implementations.

3. 4+ full life cycle SAP implementations of data migration projects.

4. 3 years' experience as a Data Lead - managing a team to deliver data migration solutions.

5. Experience with Material, Customer, and Vendor Master Data conversions.

6. Strong understanding of Data Migration Methodology (ETL) including profiling, cleansing, and validation activities.

7. Experience with using various data migration tools and solutions that apply to SAP data migration implementations.

8. Proven experience in agile project management and project leadership.

9. Excellent communication both verbal and written to all levels and stakeholder management skills.

10. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with multicultural teams.

11. Experience in cutover planning for large-scale projects is preferred.

12. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.

13. Strong business process acumen for retail, supply chain, manufacturing, and D2C business models.

Additional Skills:

· Expert Microsoft Office, and general PC knowledge.

· Service Now experience.

· Power BI reporting and navigating.

· Expert level MS Excel, ability to perform VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, produce executive summaries based on analysis of data to be able to tell the story in a concise manner of what the data is telling or the trends are showing.

· Strong Power Point skills, including the ability to present to leadership.

· ETL tools experience optional.
