Cayuga Medical Center seeks a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team. As a key member of our anesthesia department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and delivering high-quality anesthesia services.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CRNA to work in collaboration with our medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide anesthesia induction, maintenance, emergence, and post-anesthesia care
  • Insert invasive line catheters/devices and perform tracheal intubation and extubation, airway management
  • Administer mechanical ventilation as needed

The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical judgment, exceptional service attitude, and the ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.

Requirements:
  • Current NYS license and board certification as a CRNA
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
  • Current BLS Certification
Compensation:

The salary for this position is approximately $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
