**Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safety and occupational health management on project sites through surveillance, inspections, and enforcement.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings before work commencement and provide construction site orientation.
  • Implement and enforce the Safety and Health Program according to the accepted Accident Prevention Plan for both CTI and subcontractors.
  • Maintain a written log of safety and health inspections.
  • Prepare daily reports for clients, Project Managers, and the corporate office as necessary.
  • Investigate mishaps and submit required reports.
  • Manage OSHA Form 300 and Daily Production reports for prime and subcontractors.
  • Keep applicable safety reference material on the job site and implement accepted APPs and AHAs.
  • Track safety and health deficiencies until resolution using a deficiency tracking system.
  • Draft safety proposals, interpret regulations, develop training programs, and create inspection standards.
  • Familiarity with fixed-based air monitoring is essential.
Requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and possess strong computer skills.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with primary responsibilities in job site safety.
  • 30-hour OSHA construction safety class or equivalent within the last 5 years.
  • OSHA 500 trainer certification is desirable but not mandatory.
  • An average of at least 24 hours of formal safety training.
  • Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 is beneficial but not required.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Previous experience in federal and/or military construction is an asset.
  • A positive attitude and cooperative nature are essential.
  • Occasional travel is involved, with no relocation available.
  • Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor.
  • The ability to physically navigate construction sites and use safety equipment as needed.

Compensation:

$80,000-$100,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
