Cobol Mainframe Software Engineer

As a skilled Cobol Mainframe Developer at TechnoGen, you will be responsible for planning, developing, testing, and documenting computer programs using your knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate user requests for new or modified programs to determine feasibility, cost, and time required.
Consult with users to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives.
Formulate plans outlining steps required to develop programs using methodologies such as structured analysis and design or object-oriented development.
Requirements:
12 years of experience utilizing COBOL, CICS, VSAM, and Relational Database Management Systems in an enterprise environment.
1 year of development experience utilizing MS Visual Studio and Micro Focus Enterprise Developer.
1 year of preferred experience with GitHub and working for a state agency.
