Ecommerce Sales Executive

About the Role
Vets Hired is seeking an experienced Ecommerce Sales Executive to join our team. As an Ecommerce Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and targeting potential clients in the ecommerce industry, focusing on new business development while nurturing existing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify leads, utilizing a challenger sales approach to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions using ecommerce platforms.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of client industries, competitors, and market trends to identify opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
- Present products and services to key stakeholders, demonstrating a deep understanding of the client's business objectives and aligning them with value proposition.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, to ensure successful onboarding and ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, forecasts, and pipeline management using CRM software.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance your knowledge and sales approach.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, in the ecommerce industry or related technology sectors.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas and driving revenue growth.
- Strong familiarity with MEDDIC and Challenger Selling frameworks and the ability to apply them effectively in the sales process.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
- Deep understanding of ecommerce platforms, trends, and industry dynamics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess client needs and provide effective solutions.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, able to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track activities, and generate reports.
