Job Summary

As a key member of the CallMiner Sales Team, the Solutions Consultant plays a critical role in driving a successful sales process through technical and analytical pre-sales activities. This position requires a strong understanding of the CallMiner solution and the ability to effectively communicate its value to prospects.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in achieving sales targets by engaging prospects on the technical aspects of the CallMiner solution.
  • Develop strong relationships with prospects to facilitate the sale of CallMiner products and services.
  • Contribute to team success by partnering with sales directors to develop specific strategies and objectives for each prospect.
  • Lead the product and technical presentation phases of the CallMiner solution.
  • Demonstrate how the CallMiner solution enables customers to achieve return on investment (ROI).
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education to prospects.
  • Conduct proof-of-concepts, including technical setup, content creation, and data analytics, to develop ROI stories for presentation to prospects.
  • Assist in the development of product demonstrations.
  • Assist in responding to RFP/RFI/RFQ requests in the technical/product/functional areas.
  • Coordinate with technical and product experts to engage with prospects when appropriate.
  • Produce supporting materials for the sales team.
  • Record and maintain client contact data.
  • Convey prospect/customer requirements to Product Management teams.
  • Assist with marketing activities related to shows, seminars, and conferences.
Requirements
  • A well-rounded pre-sales, business consulting, or analytics background with a minimum of 5+ years of experience.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Linguistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial organization with aggressive sales goals.
  • Ability to organize and manage own work, projects, priorities, deadlines, and follow up on assignments with minimal direction.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical and functional concepts to solve business issues.
  • Strong written and verbal skills to communicate professionally and effectively in written responses to emails, RFPs, etc.
  • Ability to work independently, yet comfortable in a collaborative, team-oriented selling environment.
  • Ability to develop and interpret data analysis for the purpose of conveying the value of a technical/software solution.
  • Technically competent, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies, serving as a subject matter expert on the CallMiner solution.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies, including Machine Learning and Generative.
  • Ability to travel (50%+) for prospect/customer meetings, company gatherings, and industry conferences.
  • Familiarity with basic syntax and Boolean search operators, SQL Database experience desired.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Other Skills (Beneficial)
  • Full professional proficiency in multiple languages, with multilingual candidates encouraged to apply (Spanish, French).
  • Exposure to contact center metrics, architecture, and/or business intelligence analysis.
  • Industry experience in Collections, Financial, Healthcare, Performance Marketing, BPO, etc.
