University Counsellor

Metro Nashville Public Schools is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated University Counsellor to join our team. As a key member of our school community, you will provide comprehensive counselling services to students in grades 9-12, promoting their academic, career, and personal/social development.

• Deliver data-driven counselling services, activities, and programs to support student growth and achievement.
• Develop and implement targeted interventions for at-risk students, utilizing Early Warning Indicators and needs assessments.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and community-based resources to ensure students receive the support they need.
• Advocate for students' immediate needs, concerns, or problems, and provide referrals to relevant services.
• Enter data on student contacts and maintain accurate records, adhering to confidentiality and data protection policies.

• Bachelor's Degree in Counselling from an accredited institution.
• Strong leadership, advocacy, and collaboration skills, with the ability to create systemic change.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using data, technology, and other district initiatives to support student success.
