About the Role:

The Addiction Services Coordinator will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive services to individuals struggling with addiction. This includes outreach, education, and harm reduction strategies to promote healthy behaviors and reduce the risk of overdose. The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable populations and a strong understanding of the principles of harm reduction.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals' substance use patterns and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Provide education on harm reduction strategies, including naloxone administration and safe sex practices
  • Collaborate with local service providers to ensure seamless referrals and connections to care
  • Participate in outreach efforts to engage hard-to-reach populations and promote awareness about addiction services
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, public health, counseling)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in addiction services or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of harm reduction principles and evidence-based practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
