Disability Support Associate

Region V Services is committed to providing high-quality support services for individuals with disabilities. As a Disability Support Associate, you will play a vital role in helping these individuals achieve their goals and enhance their competencies.
Working as part of our team, you will provide training and support in the homes and community locations of our clients. This will involve developing customized plans based on individual needs and desired outcomes.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who shares our commitment to delivering exceptional care and support.
Salary Information:
The hourly wage for this position is $24 per hour. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, paid leave, retirement benefits, and tuition reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide training and support to individuals with disabilities in their homes and community locations
• Develop customized plans based on individual needs and desired outcomes
• Enhance personal growth and ensure individual progress by making changes as necessary
• Work cooperatively with consultants, supervisors, and other agency staff to meet the needs of the individual
• Maintain accurate data collection, records, and reports as required to maintain accountability and meet regulatory requirements
• Serve as a positive role model and trainer for the individual in regards to socially enhancing behavior, personal hygiene, language, personal grooming, etc.
Requirements:
• Eighteen (18) years of age or older
• Prefer one year experience in the field of human services
• Must possess a reliable means of communication (e.g. telephone, cell phone, etc.)
