We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Merchandise Associate to join our team at The Hangar - Frisco (Dallas Stars Team Store). As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional game-day experience for our fans. Your primary goal will be to provide legendary customer service, ensuring that every guest leaves the store with a positive impression of our brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Gift Shop set-up team with merchandising event gift shops, including plan-o-grams, merchandise placement, inventory control, and cleaning of shops and fixtures.
  • Greet guests and ascertain their interests to make sales recommendations.
  • Provide excellent accuracy when using POS systems.
  • Demonstrate ownership in cleaning, re-stocking, and other tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Present merchandise to increase sales with add-on items.
  • Describe merchandise features, benefits, and explain use.
  • Keep current on promotions and sales in-store and events at the speedway.
  • Maintain inventory, merchandise placement, and accurate counts. Assist in inventory.
  • Continually increase knowledge of product, facility, and all events held at Comerica Center or at our pop-up store.
Requirements
  • High school graduate, GED, or equivalent experience in a comparable company.
  • Honesty and integrity in all actions and language.
  • Excellent customer service and selling skills.
  • Accuracy in open and close procedures.
  • Innovative and self-starter, who can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility in duties and responsibilities as needed in other areas.
  • Ability to work extended hours on event days.
  • Must be able to work weekends and overtime as needed.
  • Able to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods of time.
