We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team as an Assistant Two-Year Olds' Teacher. As a trusted member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing environment that fosters the growth and development of our youngest learners.

About the Position
  • This is a full-time position with a 4-day work week, offering a unique opportunity for work-life balance.
  • The salary range starts at $16.50 per hour, with potential for increases based on performance and experience.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities that cater to the diverse needs of our toddlers.
  2. Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  3. Provide individualized support and guidance to children during playtime, meals, personal hygiene, and other daily routines.
  4. Maintain open communication with parents through regular updates on their child's progress and development.
  5. Participate in ongoing assessments and observations to inform teaching practices and improve student outcomes.
Requirements
  • A minimum of two years of experience working with young children (under the age of 3).
  • Qualification as an Assistant Group Supervisor or higher with the Department of Human Services.
  • Prior experience with early childhood education, preferably holding a CDA or pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education.
  • Ability to pass state, federal, and child abuse background checks.
  • Be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
  • A genuine passion for working with toddlers and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40lbs, see, hear, and sit on the floor with children.
  • Patient, nurturing, and able to create a supportive atmosphere that encourages learning and exploration.
