About the Role:

Gpac is seeking an experienced and dynamic Residential Construction Area Manager to oversee multiple semi-custom and production home projects for our growing portfolio.

This role is critical to ensuring that all homes are built on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Oversight: Manage the construction of semi-custom and production homes across multiple communities.
  • Timely Completion: Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget while adhering to quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor on-site superintendents, subcontractors, and support staff.
  • Job Site Visits: Conduct regular job site visits to monitor progress, safety, and compliance with all building codes and company standards.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Maintain schedules, coordinate trades, and ensure materials are available and delivered on time.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients to provide updates and address any concerns.
  • Project Planning: Work closely with the project management team to review project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control measures across all projects.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve any issues or delays that may impact project timelines or budgets.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
  • Inspections and Approvals: Manage the inspection and approval process with local municipalities and inspectors.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in residential construction management, preferably in semi-custom or production home building.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of managing multiple home builds simultaneously.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and codes.
  • Communication: Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Buildertrend, CoConstruct, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Safety Knowledge: Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining safe job sites.
