Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide warm and knowledgeable service to guests, ensuring that they feel welcome and valued.
  • Use checklists to ensure that operational and cleaning standards are being met.
  • Play a leadership role in developing positive work experiences for team members, resulting in a positive guest experience.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks using approved brand cleaning products as assigned by manager to adhere to health standards.
  • Complete all assigned side work, including replenishing condiments and restocking side stands.
  • Perform other duties as requested, such as answering telephones and handling special guest requests.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt processes and standards.
  • Basic knowledge of beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language sufficient to understand menus, special promotions, record orders, and communicate with guests.
  • Ability to remember, recite, and promote the variety of menu items.
  • Ability to operate beverage equipment and a keyboard.
  • Must obtain any government required licenses or certificates, such as CPR certification and/or 1st Aid Training.
