Radar Systems Engineer

Leidos is seeking a Radar Systems Engineer with expertise in the design and test of RF and Radar Systems, including Electronic Warfare (EW) techniques and countermeasures.
As part of our team, you will focus on advancing the state of the art in research and advanced applications to support ongoing and future EW programs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and evaluate high-fidelity models of military systems/technologies of interest.
- Define and implement prototype hardware/software necessary to generate RF environments for advanced technology demonstrations.
- Develop novel RF test fixtures, test equipment, and measurement methods.
- Develop software for implementing electronic support (ES) and electronic attack (EA) algorithms, evaluating electronic warfare metrics, and integrating the software into an electronic warfare testbed.
- Develop closed-loop digital and RF models to demonstrate and assess adaptive, autonomous, or cognitive sensor systems.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related discipline with at least 4+ years of relevant experience in radar/EW systems or master's degree in electrical engineering, Physics, or related discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience in radar/EW systems experience.
- Must be a U.S Citizen and have an active Secret security clearance.
- Experience with MATLAB.
- Working knowledge of scientific programming and algorithm development.
- Experience with radar signal processing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
- Working knowledge areas such as digital filtering, spectral estimation, detection and estimation theory, and stochastic processes.
- Experience working in areas of modeling and simulation (M&S), radar, adaptive radar, signals processing, algorithm development, or similar fields.
