Job Overview

The KA Recruiting Inc. is seeking a skilled Histology Technologist to join their team in Dallas, Texas. This permanent and full-time direct hire position offers an exciting opportunity for professionals with a passion for histology and laboratory work.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing various duties related to histology, including embedding, cutting, staining, cover slipping, microtomy, and case management of daily slides. You will also be required to perform special stains and immunohistochemistry procedures as directed by senior staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Embedding tissue samples into paraffin blocks for processing.
  • Cutting thin sections from the embedded tissue using a microtome.
  • Staining and cover slipping slides for microscopic examination.
  • Performing special stains and immunohistochemistry procedures as needed.

Requirements:
  • Associate Degree or equivalent in Histotechnology or a related field.
  • A minimum of one year of current experience within the last three years in a comparable job.
  • Possession of ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathologists) or HT (Histotechnician) certification is preferred but not mandatory.

About the Opportunity:
This night shift position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a generous compensation for your skills and experience. The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $`55,000-$65,000, depending on qualifications and location.
