Join Nutramax Laboratories as an Automation and Controls Engineer and contribute to the development of innovative automation concepts and maintenance of existing automated manufacturing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement new automation concepts to optimize safety and quality while maximizing efficiency.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing automated manufacturing systems.
  • Support Production, Maintenance, and Process Teams in troubleshooting equipment across multiple facilities.
  • Program, upgrade, and troubleshoot PLCs, Human Machine Interfaces, vision, and data acquisition systems.
  • Provide technical training and support to maintenance, manufacturing, and engineering personnel.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical.
  • Minimum 2-4 years' experience as an Automation/Controls Engineer in a regulated industry.
  • Experience in a cGMP facility is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and applied statistics skills.
  • Technical expertise in manufacturing-based applications.
  • Certification in Lean manufacturing is preferred.
  • Six Sigma certification - green/black belt is preferred.
