Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Logistics Specialist to join our team at Magid Glove & Safety. As a key member of our distribution center, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive our 18 ft box truck on a daily route to various customer locations
  • Restock vending machines and/or safety cabinets
  • Assist with inventory tasks such as counts, orders, receiving and stocking products in storage locations
  • Perform monthly inventory count that is on the truck, racks, and floor
  • Put away new inventory in either the vending truck or in the racks
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on vending machines
  • Provide on-site technical support and perform customer support tasks
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high energy
  • Maintain courteous and professional behavior and appearance
  • Manage work progress and ensure adherence to service schedules
  • Provide backup to other team members (Drivers, Warehouse Personnel and Field Service Reps)
  • Collaborate and communicate with colleagues and share information to ensure top-notch customer service
  • Build relationships and trust with customers
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures and protect company assets

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Have a valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Background checks will be conducted, and drug testing will be required
  • Must be able to work overtime as required
  • Ability to resolve basic mechanical and software issues
  • Previous experience driving 18' truck preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Must wear safety gear (helmet, safety glasses, safety shoes) as required
