Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our outpatient team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients in support of and as directed by the physician.
You will observe, conduct, and document thorough assessments of patients' medical status during the entire course of treatment. This will involve administering medications, documenting therapeutic effects, and performing assigned back office duties.
In addition, you will rotate as a telephone triage nurse, responding to patient calls in an efficient and professional manner. You will perform all duties in accordance with Northwell Health policies and procedures.
This role requires a graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing or a Nursing Vocational/Technical school, as well as a current License to practice as a Practical Nurse in New York State. Specialized certifications may also be required.
