Job Summary

">

We are seeking an experienced School Psychologist to join our team, working closely with an exceptional school district in Puyallup, WA. The successful candidate will provide assessment, consultation, and intervention services to support student academic, social, and emotional development.

This is a contract position, scheduled to run from December 2, 2024, to June 13, 2025, with a full-time schedule and 35 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify student strengths and areas of need
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to address student goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to ensure effective support for students
  • Provide consultation services to parents and guardians to enhance their understanding of student needs and progress

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A valid School Psychologist credential/license or be in the process of obtaining one in the state of practice
  • At least one year of verifiable professional experience as a School Psychologist within the last three years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
