Job Summary
At LifeBridge Health, we are seeking a skilled Cytology Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory staff, you will be responsible for preparing and screening cytologic specimens, assisting on fine needle procedures, and interpreting findings under the direction of a pathologist.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and screen cytologic specimens for diagnostic purposes
• Assist on fine needle procedures and interpret findings under the direction of a pathologist
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of test results
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure quality control and regulatory compliance
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in cytology or a related field
• Board registration or certification in cytology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
