Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wireline Operator 2 to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing wireline-related duties at the well site and in the shop, ensuring compliance with all regulations applicable to wireline explosives operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare for jobs by maintaining tools, performing pre-job and post-job tool checks
  • Assist in rigging up and down wireline surface and downhole equipment
  • Participate in tool string make-ups and assembly of downhole logging tools, including perforating guns, pipe recovery, and setting tools
  • Maintain and clean down-hole and surface logging equipment, including mechanical devices, logging heads, explosive setting tools, and perforating hardware, cement bailer systems, and pressure control components
  • Perform basic duties at the well site and at the shop
  • Drive company vehicles safely while observing Company and government regulations
  • Maintain well site/DOT records and communications as required
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to promote safe and efficient operations
  • Assist in training other Wireline Operators while maintaining high safety awareness at the well site
  • Promote good customer relations
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers, superiors, company men, and rig supervisors on the well site
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazardous Material Endorsement
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a wireline operator
  • The ability to pass a comprehensive ATF background check
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of down-hole tools
  • Familiarity with explosives applications in the wireline business
  • Knowledge of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms (ATF) and applicable State laws
  • Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office suite proficiency
  • The ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
Compensation

We offer an estimated annual salary range of $60,000 - $80,000, depending on location and experience.
