About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Children's Minnesota, one of the largest pediatric health systems in the United States. Our Physical Therapy department evaluates and treats children with a range of diagnoses, including gross motor development delay, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, Down syndrome, and orthopedic injuries.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and providing physical therapy services to children, documenting care and communicating with providers as needed. They will also provide training and education to patients, families, and staff, ensuring a safe and clean environment, and managing time effectively to promote satisfaction among patients, families, and providers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat children with various diagnoses, including gross motor development delay, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, Down syndrome, and orthopedic injuries
  • Document care and communicate with providers as needed
  • Provide training and education to patients, families, and staff on adaptive equipment and techniques
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
  • Manage time effectively to promote satisfaction among patients, families, and providers

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree from an accredited physical therapy program
  • Minnesota state licensure (temporary licensure accepted if accompanied by proof of passing physical therapy board examination)
  • BLS certification
  • Pediatric experience preferred

Working Conditions

This is an inpatient casual position (days only) based out of Minneapolis with the potential to float to the St. Paul hospital. Potential for outpatient coverage if interested.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around $73,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This amount includes the base pay and does not include additional benefits.
