Job Summary

Koniag Government Services is seeking an Observer for Urinalysis Specimen Collection to support the Drug Demand Reduction Program (DDRP) at a military installation. The successful candidate will provide urinalysis specimen observation and ensure the integrity of the drug testing process.

Key Responsibilities

Directly observe selected individuals providing urine samples for drug testing
Understand the legal requirements of the position, including the possibility of testifying in a court of law
Follow the directions of the Wing Drug Demand Reduction Program Manager and the Drug Testing Program Administrative Manager
Document direct observations during each individual specimen collection on appropriate forms
Provide feedback on the Wing Drug Demand Reduction Program to the Drug Testing Program Administrative Manager

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Prior military experience preferred
Ability to work as a civilian contractor on a military installation during required drill events
Must be available to work on-call for emergencies

Working Environment

This position operates in a professional office environment with a moderate noise level. The incumbent will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. The workload may require sitting for extended periods. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations, and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
