Job Title: Associate, Product Marketing

About the Role:

Parnassus Investments is seeking a highly skilled Associate, Product Marketing to join our team. As a key member of our Product Marketing team, you will play a central role in supporting our business development and client service efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and complete new and recurring RFP/RFI/DDQ or other special client requests about our firm, products, and investment approach in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Client Service to set priorities and gain business context.
  • Update consultant databases with a focus on quality content that reflects well on our brand.
  • Complete other writing, editing, review/proofing requests as necessary.
  • Participate in research and special projects periodically.
  • Assist with standard administrative duties as assigned to help the team succeed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two to four years of investment and RFP/reporting experience for an investment management firm.
  • Solid understanding of equities and U.S. fixed income and standard investment vehicles such as mutual funds, separate accounts, and CITs.
  • Excellent communications skills, especially strong writing and editing skills.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.
  • Adept at conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient at MS Office, particularly MS Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread and assess quality for both numbers and text.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.

Work Environment:

This position is based in our San Francisco office with a hybrid model of 3 days/week in-office and 2 days/week remote. We are in San Francisco's Financial District near BART, Muni, ferries, and cable cars, and we provide a generous commuter subsidy.
