At GPM Truck Center, we are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic to join our team. This role requires a strong background in overhauls and truck repairs, with expertise in Autocar and Cummins engines.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy duty trucks
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Conduct engine overhauls and rebuilds to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely and efficient repairs
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic
  • Strong knowledge of Autocar and Cummins engines, including diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with engine overhauls and rebuilds, including hands-on training and certification
  • Certifications and licenses relevant to the position
Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary based on experience, ranging from $60,000 to $90,000 per year, plus great health insurance, a 401k plan, and opportunities for advancement within the company.
