Job Summary

The Salvation Army USA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Coach to join our team. As a Fitness Coach, you will be responsible for providing a supportive environment that promotes Christian faith and values. You will work with clients to design and implement personalized fitness programs, and provide guidance on proper exercise techniques and equipment use. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for participants, and working with the Director of Fitness to ensure that all programs and services meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Assess client needs and develop personalized fitness programs
Provide guidance on proper exercise techniques and equipment use
Maintain a safe and healthy environment for participants
Work with the Director of Fitness to ensure that all programs and services meet the highest standards
Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of new programs and services

Requirements

Working towards or possession of a degree in physical fitness
Experience in the field of fitness
Ability to design and implement personalized fitness programs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the development of new programs and services

Working Conditions

This is a part-time position that requires the ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
