Commercial Plumbing Estimator and Project Coordinator

Job Summary:

As a Commercial Plumbing Estimator and Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the overall sales objectives of Signature Mechanical. This includes collaborating with the plumbing sales team to deliver new, remodel/retrofit, and replacement project estimates that meet our clients' expectations. You will work directly with customers and field technicians to provide detailed and accurate estimates in a timely manner.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage both Design/Build to plan spec projects
• Create and draft a Scope of Work
• Collect and evaluate quotes/bids from vendors and subcontractors
• Produce accurate, timely, and competitive estimates
• Foster strong relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, general contractors, co-workers, and owners while serving as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
• Analyze and forecast key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
• Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas

Requirements:
• Proven experience with Mechanical wet side and plumbing estimating
• Familiarity with FastEST, FastDuct, and FastPipe is preferred
• Knowledge of commercial Mechanical wet side piping and commercial plumbing
• Understanding of federal, state, and city regulations and guidelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Outlook, and Excel)

Work Environment:
This is a hybrid role with a combination of office, field, and remote work. Standard business hours apply, but flexibility may be required for after-hours customer/project needs.
