About the Job

We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a 13-week assignment. This is a travel opportunity, which means you will have the chance to work with different patients and healthcare teams in a new location.

  • This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts.
  • The start date for this assignment is December 23rd, but we can accommodate your availability.
Job Responsibilities

As a Critical Care Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing assessment, treatment, and monitoring of hospital patients with cardiopulmonary compromise. You will also conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, serve as a technical and educational resource for patients and healthcare teams, and assess patient data to make informed decisions.

Your responsibilities may include general floor assignments, critical care, bronchoscopy assists, emergency room, code team, and ECGs. You must demonstrate the highest level of professionalism when interacting with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff members.

Requirements
  • You must have at least 6 months of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • A graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy is required.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications are necessary, as well as an active State License.
