The Corporate Account Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives in assigned Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs). This includes targeting, qualifying, expanding existing positions, and closing new business opportunities.

The Corporate Account Manager supports CONMED corporate objectives across all Business Units in accelerating revenue and market share growth objectives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Understand CONMED's strategic position in Medical Device and within the Region for each product portfolio.
  • Align short-term business needs to long-term CONMED strategy, developing quarterly goals to meet a three-year plan.
  • Develop and implement contract strategies in Region consistent with corporate objectives and supporting Business Unit aims.
  • Provide comprehensive business reviews, develop enabling programs and contracts to accelerate revenue growth, maintain pricing integrity, and protect margin.
  • Execute and performance manage negotiated contracts from implementation to expiration to ensure full value is derived from CONMED Agreements.
  • Support CONMED Shared Services and other internal organizations as needed in support of Customer objectives.
  • Deliver a differentiated experience, delighting our Customers through operations excellence, value beyond the sale, and effective communication.
  • Keep Customer commitments, resolve problems, and exceed Customer expectations.

Requirements
  • BS/BA degree. Business Management, Sales, or Marketing emphasis preferred.
  • 10+ years medical device or medical technology sales experience.
  • 5+ years recent and relevant experience in IDN sales with preference to candidates within Region.
  • Current relationships with Executives and key personnel in assigned accounts.
  • Ability to effectively present to broad audiences across all levels of leadership.
  • Demonstrated expertise with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and OneNote.
  • Travel up to 60%.
  • Ability to meet with customers at hospitals with nothing prohibiting credentialing in any hospital or hospital organization.

Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA/MHA preferred.
  • Additional experience in sales, marketing, supply chain, healthcare economics, or related areas desirable.
  • Knowledge of Contract Law.
  • Sound analytical skills, ability to manipulate and interpret data.
  • Self-motivated and solution-oriented.
  • Tactful; exercises independent judgment and discretion.
  • Strong relationship building, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to operate in a matrixed marketing environment and work effectively with sales, sales management, finance, and customers.
  • Current relationships with Executives and key personnel in assigned accounts.
  • Ability to effectively present to broad audiences across all levels of leadership.
  • Demonstrated expertise with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and OneNote.
  • Safe driving and travel record.

Must live within Region near a major airport.

CONMED is driven to work together with our customers to make healthcare better. This role requires access to customer accounts as a function of the job. Therefore, meeting account requirements regarding vaccinations is required as an essential job function, including the COVID-19 vaccination.
Disclosure as required by law, the annual salary range for this position is $210k - $250k

. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level. The salary range is CONMED's good faith belief at the time of this posting.
