Leasing Agent Job Description

Job Title: Leasing Agent

Reports to: Leasing Manager & General Manager

Job Summary:

The Leasing Agent will work with the Property Manager to achieve occupancy goals, provide excellent customer service, and effectively market and lease to prospects of the community.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure all marketing, leasing, and operational goals are achieved daily/weekly/monthly under the supervision of the Leasing Manager and General Manager.
  2. Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data in property software programs.
  3. Respond to internet leads, answer resident and prospect calls, and conduct property tours following company guidelines and policies.
  4. Maintain a strong understanding of the community, specials, and floor plans, as well as the competition.
  5. Assist with the planning and hosting of resident events.
  6. Assist applicants with the application process and lease process.
  7. Assist residents with the move-in and move-out process.
  8. Prepare and have a thorough knowledge of all lease-related paperwork.
  9. Participate in the unit turn process.
  10. Write up and file service requests from residents upon receipt.
  11. Contribute to the general upkeep and cleaning of the office, common areas, and model.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or Marketing (a plus but not required).
  • Entrata experience (a plus but not required).
  • 1-2 years of customer service and/or sales experience (preferred but not required).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills required, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • High energy with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A desire to help others and impact the community.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as required.
