Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute contract maintenance visits, inspections, site assessments, and service requests to prolong equipment life cycle
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and coworkers through effective communication
  • Provide quote estimates for labor and material repairs and upgrades as needed
  • Represent the company as the direct customer contact and service products and equipment on assigned projects
  • Diagnose and repair equipment and systems at customer locations
  • Enforce safety standards and maintain security and accountability of company assets
  • Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality service to customers, including occasional overtime and weekend work
Requirements:
  • Three years of commercial, industrial, and/or institutional experience with all types of chillers, compressor technologies, chiller control systems, and speed drives
  • Mechanical Journeyman status
  • Member of Local Union 286 or willing to join
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld computers
  • Adherence to company safety program
  • Valid driver's license
  • Appropriate licenses to work with refrigerant, boiler, and steam operational and service knowledge
  • EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • More than 5 years of commercial, industrial, and/or institutional experience with all types of chillers, compressor technologies, chiller control systems, and speed drives
