Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain general building systems and equipment.
  • Direct and support technical support staff.
  • Maintain current knowledge of federal, state, and local safety and environmental laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance and repair programs and procedures.
  • Act as a source of direction for the training and guidance of less experienced staff.
  • Respond to service requests, including hot calls, cold calls, and odor complaints.
  • Inspect water and life safety systems and respond to all fire systems and emergency calls.

Requirements:

  • Certification in a relevant specialty or field or a valid license from Miami Dade County.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
  • Valid driver's license.

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The employee must be able to work in a variety of settings, including outdoors in extreme weather conditions. The employee must also be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
