We are seeking a highly skilled CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of products to our customers.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a commercial truck to deliver products to customers across various locations, while adhering to strict safety standards and regulations.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is between $28.40 per hour and $32.40 per hour, with opportunities for overtime compensation and a retention bonus. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.

Key Responsibilities

* Safely operate a commercial truck to deliver products to customers
* Verify accuracy of deliveries with customers and obtain proper signatures
* Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
* Provide professional customer service to enhance our client experience

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of legal residence, with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications. Additionally, you should have a minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry. Preferred skills include the ability to operate a manual transmission and read/write English fluently.
