Transportation Engineering Technicians Specialist

DM Enterprises is seeking a Transportation Engineering Technicians Specialist to join our team.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 per yearJob DescriptionThe successful candidate will perform a variety of technical engineering support tasks in the transportation industry. This includes inspecting construction and maintenance projects, performing tests on soils and materials, evaluating methods for maintenance operations, serving on a survey crew, drafting design details, maintenance contract specifications, and construction notes, calculating quantities for construction projects and maintenance activities, preparing Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) plans, maps, or right of way plats, collecting and recording traffic data, and conducting traffic studies.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect construction and maintenance projects
- Perform tests on soils and materials
- Evaluate methods for maintenance operations
- Serve on a survey crew
- Draft design details and maintenance contract specifications
- Calculate quantities for construction projects and maintenance activities
- Prepare CADD plans, maps, or right of way plats
- Collect and record traffic data
- Conduct traffic studies
