Interventional Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist

Norman Regional Health System is a leading healthcare provider in the Oklahoma City metro area, committed to delivering exceptional patient care. We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to join our team.
Job SummaryThe Interventional Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist will play a vital role in our cardiovascular program by preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and ensuring a sterile environment during procedures. They will collaborate closely with a team of cardiologists and participate in the training of new staff while maintaining high standards of patient care.
This position requires completion of accredited Radiologic or Cardiovascular programs, relevant certifications, and a commitment to professional development. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Prepares equipment before and during procedures
- Identifies and assesses patient condition, prepares, positions, and provides patient care
- Establishes and maintains a sterile environment
- Serves as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participates in the orientation of new staff
- Maintains strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care
- Completion of 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS certification
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology Registered and/or RCIS certification, Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care; Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment
$27.84-$45.46/hour based on previous work experience.
