Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Application Training Specialist to join our team at Sparks Group. This is a hybrid remote opportunity in Washington, DC.

As an IT Application Training Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs for various IT applications used within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the IT department and stakeholders to identify training needs and objectives.
  • Design comprehensive training curricula for various IT applications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and user requirements.
  • Develop engaging training materials, including manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules.
  • Conduct interactive training sessions for employees at all levels, both in-person and virtually.
  • Customize training content to suit different learning styles and proficiency levels.
  • Provide hands-on demonstrations and simulations to reinforce learning.
  • Offer ongoing support and assistance to trainees during and after training sessions.
  • Implement assessment methods to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Gather feedback from participants to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments to training materials and delivery methods.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT training and instructional design, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Proficiency in various IT applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite, customer relationship management (CRM) software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, etc.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $27.50 per hour, based on industry standards and location. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and life insurance, paid and unpaid time off, and retirement and savings plans to qualifying employees.
