Job DescriptionFloat Medical Assistant RoleThe ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support to both the front and back office, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
You will be working in multiple departments and locations, offering diverse experiences and the opportunity to adapt to different clinical environments.
Responsibilities- Welcome patients warmly, manage intake forms, and efficiently schedule appointments.
- Navigate full-cycle patient registration, including insurance verification, eligibility checks, fee communication, and payment collection.
- Answer phone calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Diploma from an Accredited Certified Medical Program.
- 2 years exp. in direct clinical care preferred.
You should also possess:
- Knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
