Renewable Energy Operations Specialist

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Generation Dispatcher to join our team. This role involves monitoring and managing wind, solar, and battery assets to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The main priority is to track issues, coordinate repairs, and maintain smooth operations. This includes operational planning, communication, teambuilding, and compliance assurance.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily logs of site events.
Authorize technicians for on-site work.
Call out technicians for equipment faults and perform remote resets.
Communicate with off-takers, transmission operators, and balancing authorities about equipment trips, de-rates, outages, and operating instructions.
Submit site nominations and schedule outages.
Assist the RCC Supervisor and act as a backup when needed.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.
2-3 years of plant operations experience.
PJM Generator Dispatcher Certification.
Power Plant knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or relevant field.
Renewable Energy background.
Experience with SCADA, EMS Control Systems, and various OEM Wind SCADAs.
