Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a key member of our oncology department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a night shift schedule. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for oncology nursing and excellent communication skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cancer treatment, including chemotherapy administration, symptom management, and education.

Responsibilities

- Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed by physicians
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination

Requirements

- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current Oregon RN license
- National Provider BLS certification
- At least one year of nursing experience, preferably in oncology
