About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Provider Network Analyst to join our team at the Office of the Insurance Commissioner (OIC). As a key member of our Rates, Forms, and Provider Networks Division, you will play a critical role in analyzing and evaluating healthcare provider networks, identifying contractual compliance issues, and ensuring compliance with Washington State and federal insurance laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct analytical reviews and evaluations of healthcare provider networks to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Communicate with insurance companies and their third-party filers to resolve compliance concerns and data quality issues.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate with the binder team to ensure accurate and timely data analysis.
  • Utilize CMS tool resources to review binder data files for compliance.
Requirements
  • 6 years of experience working in the healthcare, insurance, or regulatory field, with a strong understanding of statutory requirements and compliance.
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
