Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Wayspring. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our patients with substance use disorder.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including comprehensive health assessments and treatment plans, to identify substance use disorder and medical needs.
- Develop and implement substance use disorder treatment plans, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT) where indicated.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to drive positive clinical outcomes for patients.
- Complete intakes, attend collaboration meetings, and participate in educational activities to ensure comprehensive care.
- Serve as the behavioral health clinical expert on the team during rounds, health plan client-facing meetings, and other areas where provider support is needed.
- Master's degree in nursing.
- Board certification from the AANP or ANCC as a PMHNP with a minimum of one year experience in psychiatric and primary care or substance use treatment.
- Passionate about helping the Medicaid population and individuals with substance use disorder.
- Previous or current credentialing through Medicare, Medicaid, or other commercial insurance plans.
- Holds and maintains an unrestricted DEA.
- Willingness to be current with all state and federal training requirements related to the prescribing of MAT.
