Salary and Benefits

We offer competitive salaries, with our Home Health Speech Pathologists earning an estimated $56.30-$70 per hour, based on experience and location. In addition to our attractive pay, our benefits package includes:

Job Description

As a Home Health Speech Pathologist at Amedisys, you will work closely with patients and their families to prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults. You will also provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, and provide augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in your state
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Current CPR certification
  • One year of experience in speech pathology preferred
