We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at McCarthy Tire Service Co. in Hagerstown, MD.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and troubleshoot issues with vehicles and equipment.
- Repair and rebuild major components, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective repair.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to Corporate and OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and provide guidance and direction as needed.
- Utilize vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes and initiate repairs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Successfully complete pre-employment drug screen and physical.
