About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Admissions Manager to join our team at St. Mary's University.

Job Summary

The Nursing Admissions Manager will play a key role in promoting and managing the development of best-in-class recruitment and yielding activities for the nursing program.

Responsibilities
  • Recruitment Strategy: Develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract prospective nursing applicants, with a focus on building relationships with local community leaders, organizations, and cultural institutions.
  • Admissions Management: Review applications for admissions, analyze qualifications, assist in the evaluation of transcripts for credit equivalencies, and implement follow-up activities including written and electronic correspondence and telephone calls.
  • Campus Representation: Represent the University at on- and off-campus admissions-related programs and events, including high schools, community colleges, early college high schools, and other educational institutions as appropriate based on review of historical and market data.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with university committees/councils, Marketing and Communications division, and school-level teams to develop, implement, and monitor marketing and communication plans, strategies, and events while ensuring university brand standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years enrollment management and/or college admission counseling experience, with previous nursing or health professions admission, student services, or public relations experience preferred.
  • Skill Set: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines, and proficiency in MS Office, Office 365, Zoom, Slate CRM, and Banner software.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong public relations and customer service skills, high ethical standard, and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Work Environment

This position requires working in an office environment and university campus setting, with frequent travel and extended hours or weekends during peak times and for special programs, projects, and events.

Estimated Salary Range:

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
